Boating

Lake Winnipesaukee is a massive lake, and as such, countless people are boating on it every day.

If you don't own a boat, yet you'd like to explore/enjoy the lake on your own, you could rent a boat.

If you already own a boat, you may want to look at the Public Launches of the lake, or you could always pay one of the various Marinas to use their ramp.

Boating safety is of the utmost importance on any lake, of course, but Winni also has some special quirks, and lots of islands (274 of which are habitable).

To ensure you know the locations of the many markers, you should get your hands on a map from one of the Marinas on the lake, and/or use a mobile app like Navionics
