Temporary Boating Certificate

Certain marinas and other companies can issue a 25 question test which will give the examinee a 14-day temporary certificate, so that they may operate boats over 25 horsepower on New Hampshire lakes.

Companies who are temporary certificate agents:

• Goodhue Boat Company
• Melvin Village Marina
• Wolfeboro Jetski Rentals

Note: some or all of the above companies may require that you are a customer for a rental boat/PWC in order to take their temporary test. If you're just planning to borrow a friend's boat, you may want to call ahead and see if the company has such a policy.
